Every good story starts with a bad decision. That's more or less the thesis of My Beautiful Mistake, Edinburgh based alt-rock band who figured that if life is just one mistake leading to the next, you might as well write songs about it.
Fronted by Joshua Grant alongside Luke Walker, Austen Brunton and Caleb Cunningham, the band takes the sentiment seriously. Tenement TV summed up the sound as "mammoth singalong chorus and surging guitars" big, cathartic rock songs built for shouting back at gigs. Before the rebrand to My Beautiful Mistake that is what the band achieved. Millions of streams, two UK tours, sold out headlines. In kicking off this new project they hope to take their brand of recession emo rock further than before.
