Jamie Gilmour
Director, Rightsbridge
Jamie Gilmour is the Founder and Director of Rightsbridge, a service designed to help music industry practitioners better understand, manage, and monetise their music copyrights and neighbouring rights. Through its online platform, Rightsbridge allows clients to register their songs and recordings with collection societies, collect royalties from the exploitation of their music, and access expert guidance from experienced copyright administrators. Clients pay a low-cost annual fee and keep 100% of the royalties collected on their behalf, retaining full control and the complete value of their catalogue.
Jamie is also a Director of the digital distribution company EmuBands, and has previously held roles at the Scottish Music Centre (SMC) and the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers & Authors (now known as The Ivors Academy). He is also an experienced artist manager and music project manager.
Jamie’s work reflects a strong commitment to ensuring that artists are fairly remunerated. His approach begins with building a clear understanding of the different rights and royalties available to music creators, and extends to developing strategies that help them maximise the value of their music.
