Dr Pippa Wheble lives and works in Edinburgh as a General Practitioner, Performing Arts Medicine Specialist, Researcher, Lecturer and Breathwork Practitioner. She has worked as an assessing clinician, mentor and trainer for BAPAM (The British Association for Performing Arts Medicine) since 2018. Pippa is an accomplished musician (violin, viola & voice). She is passionate about mental health and resilience in the performing arts, specializing in anxiety management and has introduced Breathwork in music industry, healthcare and the corporate setting as a technique for personal development and improved well-being. In addition to her clinical work, she has led the BAPAM Community Drop-In – providing online peer support for performing artists since the COVID-19 lockdown. She is passionate about empowering and connecting people through knowledge and skills.
