Chef is a musician, creative strategist, and Founder & Director of Elements HQ; an events platform reshaping Scotland’s creative landscape through inclusive programming and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Working across rap, jazz, R&B, Afrobeat, and grime, Chef has become an influential voice in Scotland’s contemporary music scene. His projects have won 5 BBC Track of the Week awards and his work has contributed to 3 Scottish Album of the Year-nominated releases, earning national recognition from BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra, and BBC Scotland.

BBC iPlayer featured him as the central voice in The New Aberdeen: Rise of Hip-Hop and R&B in Scotland, alongside being named in The List’s Top 100 Most Influential Creators of 2023.

Chef moved from Aberdeen to Edinburgh in 2025. Coming off the back of a UK tour alongside band Dictator, Chef now readies his sophomore EP for release in 2026, while simultaneously growing Elements HQ into a hub for boundary-pushing events.
