Becca McLeish is a Scottish-born, London-based publicist specialising in both event and artist PR.

She has worked in the music industry for over 10 years at various companies including The Warehouse Project, SJM Concerts, Soundcrash, Diplomats of Sound and The Columbo Group. Alongside Chris Slade, she now runs her own music communications and creative agency 'Cousin' with artists including Shygirl, Coucou Chloe and p-rallel.

Becca initially got her break whilst still at University in Manchester, working on the promotional team for Warehouse Project for 2 years. At the same time, Becca and her partner built up a viral website called Sick Chirpse where they also ran parties and had their own stages at festivals like Snowbombing and Boomtown Fair. Alongside this, she started interning at SJM Concerts, later becoming Marketing and PR coordinator for 5 years. In this time she got to work on huge-scale tours like Radiohead, One Direction, Peter Kay, Stone Roses, Kate Bush and Prince right down to smaller shows with up-and-coming artists. She has since moved to London and has been there for over 6 years honing her skills even further in PR and Promotions. She has worked with venues including XOYO, Phonox and Jazz Cafe as well as festivals such as Sunfall and Maiden Voyage.

At the end of 2019, she left to become a business partner with Cousin, and over the space of a year they have handled the PR for over 40 artists.
