Nicole D, born on 3rd December 2007 in Galway, Ireland, began her musical journey at an early age, discovering her passion for singing under the guidance of her nursery teacher. With a natural vocal talent and a strong musical ear, she quickly stood out, earning recognition through awards at festivals and competitions that helped shape her performance skills and industry experience.
After moving to the UK, Nicole wrote her debut single, “I Know I Can,” at just 13 years old, collaborating with industry professionals to bring her creative vision to life. Throughout her secondary school years, she continued writing music inspired by her personal journey, everyday experiences, and emotional sensitivity. This led to the 2022 release of “Don’t Know My Name,” which became one of her most successful tracks to date.
Beyond her music career, Nicole is the founder and creator of NEXT WAVE ABERDEEN, the largest annual networking event for creatives in the North East, dedicated to creating new opportunities and strengthening the local music community.
As a singer-songwriter, music video director, and event organiser, Nicole channels her experiences, ambition, and perspective as a young artist into every project, steadily establishing herself within today’s entertainment industry.
