Lok Pui Lo
Events and Partnerships Coordinator / Director, Be United and ESEA Creatives
Lok Pui Lo is a creative producer, festival organiser, and performer working across music, spoken word, and cross-disciplinary cultural projects. She is currently a Director of ESEA Creatives CIC, an organisation championing East and Southeast Asian creatives, and works as Event and Partnerships Coordinator at Be United, supporting Black creatives across Scotland’s performing arts, screen and cultural sectors.
In 2025, Lok produced Liquid Identities Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland’s first East and Southeast Asian creatives festival, presenting work across film, performance, music, visual art, and writing. Funded by the City of Edinburgh Council, the festival welcomed over 200 audiences and established a vital platform for ESEA cultural visibility and exchange.
Through her role at Be United, Lok leads on the delivery of the Creative Partnership Conference, bringing artists, cultural organisations, and businesses together to explore how creatives can earn, grow, and succeed through sustainable partnerships. Her work focuses on bridging creative practice with industry, enterprise, and long-term career development.
Alongside her producing work, Lok maintains a creative practice as a musician and spoken word artist. Her work explores belonging, identity, vulnerability, and emotional honesty, often drawing on lived experience and cross-cultural narratives.
Whether through producing, advising, or co-creating, she is committed to building a more connected, representative, and resilient cultural landscape in Scotland.
