Eamonn Watt
Composer / Music producer - Virtually Conducted Productions
Eamonn Watt, aka "The Virtual Conductor". is 27 years old and lives in the Shetland Islands, the most northern isles of the UK.
He’s a composer, going under the names; Eamonn Watt for his contemporary piano compositions and The Virtual Conductor for my soundtrack and orchestral compositions. He also creates Lo-Fi Beats on the odd occasion too, sometimes under the name 'lo-fi eamonn'. The first instrument he played and still plays to this day is the drums and he is now a full-time drum instructor in primary and secondary schools all around Shetland.
Eamonn started making compositions during his last years in high school in 2010 and became fully realised in 2012 during his first year in college where he created his debut virtual classical album, Bonhoga. He successfully launched this album at the Bonhoga Gallery where it received high amounts of acclaim from music fans ranging from classical music lovers to heavy metal enthusiasts. He has been very keen on studying music after discovering his composition ability from his last years in high school.
Eamonn received a First Class Applied Music Degree from the University of the Highlands and Islands in August 2016. He composes using a piece of music making software called "Cubase" to create his compositions and he uses a virtual piano roll and clicks and drags each individual note to create the melody, harmony and rhythm of a composition.
He started his focus on piano lullabies and releasing singles instead of albums in August 2019 where his first lullaby, A Simple Little Lullaby was placed onto Spotify's biggest focus playlist, Peaceful Piano with 5.54 million followers (at that time) plus nine other editorial placements on the genres of focus and sleep, and from there, managed to get a lucky streak with nine more of his songs (as of 27/02/2020) receiving editorial placements, four more reaching the major Peaceful Piano playlist. The future plan is to continue making music, and even branching out to new genres, please stay tuned for a whole lot more music!
