Scott Kirkwood is a Glasgow-based artist manager, A&R consultant and project manager.

After 5 years with Sony Music UK, Scott founded SKMGMT in 2014, developing pop artist KLOE and later signing her to Columbia Records UK / IAMSOUND (US). Throughout 2015/16 KLOE released her debut EP and follow up singles to critical acclaim (Fader/NYLON/Notion/Paper Mag/Neon Gold), performed key shows at SXSW, Canadian Music Week and Great Escape, represented Diesel Black Gold at Milan Fashion Week, curated and hosted her own stage at T in the Park, toured Europe with international pop star Charlie Puth, toured North America, and toured the UK supporting artists such as Marina & the Diamonds and Jack Garratt.

Prior to this, Scott founded First Run Records in Glasgow in 2013, releasing singles by Model Aeroplanes (Island Records), Vukovi and United Fruit. 

Scott is also Project Manager on youth music project Hit The Road at the Scottish Music Centre, which is a touring initiative for young artists between the ages of 14-19. Over the past 5 years, Hit The Road has included artists such as: Kloe, Model Aeroplanes, Man of Moon, Be Charlotte, JR Green, Indigo Velvet and Lewis Capaldi. 

Scott has also worked in A&R roles at Columbia Records UK and IAMSOUND US, and SKMGMT currently oversees campaigns from rising artists Lewis Capaldi, Catholic Action, ST.MARTiiNS and Ava Love.
